  • BBGun : why do they seem to have these long term ones too! Mad
  • George Sezer : It's the same knee that kept him out for a long time a couple of sesons ago.. not good!
  • BBGun : I know Vic, but thats just it, seems the curse of being an Arsenal player, even when they are out on loan they get injurys!
  • Vic : well, he was at wolves anyway, so let's hope he'll be back for the start of next season
  • BBGun : Emmanuel Frimpong to miss rest of season for Arsenal - another one!!
  • George Sezer : Draw is not a bad result, that means 4 of the 5 teams above us dropped 2 points this week, and we stayed above Liverpool
  • BBGun : bloody scum. thats a good result for them tonight! Evil or Very Mad
  • BBGun : like you faith dave! read new blog by Kal, its good
  • dave : good result at anfield on 3 points behind chelsea but very embrassingly 10 points behind the scum but we will still finish above them of course
  • Linds : Another new contributor for Gunnertalk. Yaaaay Kal. Please check his debut blog.
  • BBGun : and what a quote. He loved us from the start - before he won things!
  • bergkamp fan : Bergkamp: "Do arsenal fans love Arsenal or just Arsenal with trophies?" sharp quote from the GOD.
  • T Nawaz : I don\'t want that Webb to referee any of Arsenal\'s matches. He gonna rob us like how he robbed Chelsea today.
  • BBGun : i think Fergie has some dirt on Webb and treats to spill it if he dont let utd come back lol Smile
  • BBGun : on this occation im glad Man utd caught up and drew, how ever, Howard Web the 12th man u man yet again!! its all so obvious!!
  • Doofs : hi!!!
  • T Nawaz : As pleased as I was with the performance, I'm not celebratin yet. Top 4 still a little distance away and we'll need good performances against the hotshite, mugsmashers and of course the red and Black of Milan. That being said, I hope CL matches don't affect our League position as we might have to cope with several matches in a week. COuld put a lot of strain on the regulars, seeing as how reluctant AW is to play other members when the startin XI is available
  • George Sezer : annoying spammers man
  • ErB : For once, we scored more than a goal. Always nice seeing Henry score, RVP's last goal was fantastic. Walcott should have a tought time keeping his place with Gerv back but if he plays like today hmmm, it would be interesting. I am looking forward to next season when ryo plays as well. The OX should get a place in the England squad, yes, he is that good. Coquelin will be a fantastic player, now we just need to go buy a world class strike and a midfield genius.
  • SPam Extermi : chavez, this is an Arsenal fans site, no one wants to see your shit spam here. Run and jump - you wont last 10 seconds here, Exterminate G!
  • Dino : wallcot was good but still needs to up his game or risk losing his England place to the OX
  • guest_6608 : Walcott impressed today, especially the ox assist. It is true do not give too much credit as a 10 man Blackburn is as defenceless as a gang rape victim. Ox and coq were fantastic. King RVP was amazing as usual, his last goal was exceptional. Ramsey needs a rest, hes been pissing me off the last few months.
  • BBGun : what a hat trick by RVP!! and what a great way to end the game TH scoring. Chamberland great game... Walcott looked good, Arteta great goal.... what a good performance. Think Black Burn on the end of hiding that was going to come, that was frustration today! they took it out on them Smile
  • bostongooner : just saw the finish...love it
  • bostongooner : had to step out at 6-1...TH12 put one in!!!!!!!!!????? so good!
  • bergkamp fan : Do you guys agree that the last goal from the GOD was suitable to end the game??? I believe so. RVP-HENRY partnership was a magnificent ornament to finalise the game.
  • bergkamp fan : "was" not 'is' (grammatical mistake)
  • bergkamp fan : the last goal is the inspiration of KING HENRY. He made the interception and formed a great partnership with RVP to get a goal. Just like watching back. It reminded me of Dennis Bergkamp as well.
  • Dino : When Gevnyo returns Wallcot will have a tuf time keeping his spot
  • Dino : Wallcot's assist to Ox came from be'n unpredctble, he should do that more often. (i think it came from watcn Ox play)
  • aditya : Feel sorry for Rosicky, he had chances but still couldn't score. Played really well, but the stupid guy just can't score a goal even on a day like today. And rest is good for Ramsey.
  • aditya : See this is what happens when Walcott applies a little bit of finesse to his game. Sharp close control, beating defenders with touches, but still should be strong in resisting challenges. It was the OX coq show. Both played really well. Trickery and skills at its best.
  • Dino : great team work! offence and defence
  • George Sezer : Great team performance today. special mentions to Walcott, Ox, Coq and of course to our Captain Fantastic Van Persie.
  • bergkamp fan : KING
  • bergkamp fan : HENRY!!!!!!
  • Jonathan : Alright folks, Its been very entertaining on the ox show tonite. See you again next time.
  • bergkamp fan : Can wenger now sub ox and rvp. They need a rest. ESPECIALLY RVP!!!! He is about to die of tiredness!!
  • bergkamp fan : RVP, OX Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
  • bergkamp fan : !!!!!
  • bergkamp fan : RVP hat-trick
  • Jonathan : You are all welcome to the ox show.
  • bergkamp fan : dave, walcott is not outstanding it is just that Blackburn's defending is shit.
  • bergkamp fan : I have to say though Blackburn is just so bad
  • bergkamp fan : THE ox
  • bergkamp fan : oH MY GOD
  • bergkamp fan : Ox
  • dave : OUTSTANDING FROM WALCOT!
  • bergkamp fan : fucking good goal

Arsenal Football Club – know as Arsenal or The Arsenal or by their nickname ‘The Gunners’.

Arsenal is one of the most successful clubs in English football having won thirteen First Division and Premier League titles and ten FA Cups.

Arsenal hold the record for the longest uninterrupted period in the English top flight and are the only Premier League side to have completed a season unbeaten.

Arsenal was founded in 1886 and was the first Southern club to join the Football League in 1893.  They won their first major trophies in the 1930s, with five League Championship titles and two FA Cups. They became the second club of the 20th century to win the League and FA Cup Double in 1970-71, and during the past twenty years have recorded a series of successes   In this time Arsenal have won a Cup Double, two further League and FA Cup Doubles, and became the first London club to reach the UEFA Champions League Final.

The club’s colours have traditionally been red and white, which has changed in design over the years.  The club has changed location over time too; the team were initially founded in Woolwich, South East London.  In 1913 they moved north to the Arsenal Stadium in Highbury.  In 2006 their move was just round the corner in Holloway to the magnificent Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have a huge fan base all over the world and are the third richest club in the world.

The Arsenal Ladies team are the most successful English club in woman’s football.

David O’Leary holds the record for Arsenal appearances, having played 722 first-team matches between 1975 and 1993.

Centre half and former captain Tony Adams, comes second having played 699 times.

The record for a goalkeeper is held by David Seaman with 564 appearances

Thierry Henry is the club’s top goal scorer with 226 goals in all competitions between 1999 and 2007.

Ian Wright is 2nd top goal scorer with 185 in October 2005. Wright’s record had stood since September 1997

Henry also holds the club record for goals scored in the League – 174 a record that had been held by Cliff Bastin until February 2006

Arsenal's record home attendance is 73,707, for a UEFA Champions League match against RC Lens on 25 November 1998 at Wembley Stadium, where Arsenal formerly played home European matches because of the limits on Highbury's capacity. The record attendance for an Arsenal match at Highbury is 73,295, for a 0–0 draw against Sunderland on 9 March 1935, while that at the Emirates Stadium is 60,161, for a 2–2 draw with Manchester United on 3 November 2007.

Arsenal have also set records in English football, most notably the most consecutive seasons spent in the top flight (83 as of 2009–10) and the longest run of unbeaten League matches (49 between May 2003 and October 2004). This included all 38 matches of their title-winning 2003-04 season, making Arsenal only the second club ever to finish a top-flight campaign unbeaten, after Preston North End  (who played only 22 matches) in 1888–89.

Arsenal also set a UEFA Champions League record during the 2005–06 season by going ten matches without conceding a goal, beating the previous best of seven set by A.C Milan They went a record total stretch of 995 minutes without letting an opponent score; the streak finally ended in the final against FC Barcelona when Samuel Eto'o scored Barcelona's equaliser in the 76th minute.

The most Premier League games Arsenal have won consecutively is 14 – a record not only for the Premier League but all of English league football
