Do we want him?: I would like to say "yes“ but do we need another DM? We have Frimpong who has to prove he deserves to be in the first team. I am not sure about his fitness issues but Frimpong looked quite good during pre-season games.

He is sharp, quick but he lacks a bit of football brain as he can´t provide good passes regularly. We all wanted to see Wenger building the Arsenal backbone around English players but Lucas would surely bring some experience into the cause as he is older than Song and Frimpong. Tott*nham have also been linked with this player. Isn´t strange that they try to hijack every offer for all possible Arsenal transfer targets?

Name: Alex (Alex Rodrigo Dias da Costa)
Age: 29
Place of birth: Niterói, Brasil

Hight: 1.89 m (6 ft 2 1?2 in)

Position: Central Defender
Current club: Chelsea

Do we want him?: Arsenal have been heavily linked with Chris Samba and Garry Cahill but everything seems to have gone quiet on that zones. Arsene Wenger doesn´t want to splash the cash around and he will propably look somewhere abroad or will bring in some bargain players.

Chelski are also linked with so many names as AVB looks to bring some younger players from his former club Porto,...

As much as I hate chelsea I have to admit that Alex with his experience and so many matches under his belt would be a perfect addition to our squad. He´s played in big games and he could bring some calmness and mature tactical thinking to the back four.
