“OH MY GOD”!!!  Or to you texters out there OMG or WTF – what happened on Saturday?

WTF is probably the phase to use – the F word was said on so many occasions that if I had a swear box in my living room..... No joke...... I would be able to afford a Gucci Bag right now!!!

WTF was that referee thinking – perhaps I should have invested in a new watch for him rather than the Gucci bag I would have had if I had a swear box in my home!!!

4 Minutes extra time was bad enough however for him to let it go into 5 minutes is mind blowing – does this Ref not care about my sanity!!  Why would he want to spoil my Saturday ...... not only did he cause my husband to have a nervous breakdown..... Some might actually call it a mental breakdown!!  In fact I think the latter is far closer to the truth.

I hovered in the door way, hoping to ask my boys ... husband or son.... I am not fussed.... to record X-factor as there was no way I was going to get in the living room through a torrid of abuse that was being hurtled towards our TV and towards the Ref!!

Hopping from one leg to another, I had a sudden flashback to my childhood whereas I knew mum or dad where going to tell me “Not Now” or “Can’t it wait” or even “Can’t you see I am busy” however I am not a child and I am in my own home and I own the damn TV........... So just get in there and record the X-Factor – Double Bill – Sat and Sun!!!!

No!!! I couldn’t do it – I could not face the “I can’t believe all you think about is X-Factor at a time like this” or “Are you F****ing joking F****ing X-Factor” or even “Can’t you see I am busy ....busy having a nervous and F****ing mental Breakdown”!!  So I declined!!  There are repeats, I said to myself!!! Now is not a good time!!

On that dreaded Saturday my son had his “TINGS” round (Translation: His Friends) one of his “Tings” is a young lady – Sunita – she is going off to University soon.   Well one of the main reasons I declined from requesting that X-Factor be recorded on MY TV was her!!!

Bless her I don’t think she had heard or seen anything like it!!  She was sitting in the corner of the living room and she seemed to shrink deeper and deeper into the sofa.  Her scarf went higher and higher to the point that I thought I would not see her face soon.  Her eyes were round like little teacups on her face!! I beckoned for her to leave the battlefield (my living room) and the torrid of bad language floating in the air to which she hastily ran out of the room.  The words she said next will always make me remember and smile at the humiliating day “feel my heart beat” she said with a quivering voice - I did and yes it was beating rather excessively!!!

We retreated to the garden where I consoled her and told her “this is normal” – somehow someway, I don’t think this particular young lady will be watching Arsenal any more..... Well not in my home anyway!!!!!

I dedicate this Blog to Sunita – Girls find yourself a fella that likes Cricket I say!!!!!!!
