So its been a week where the Arsenal have shoved one well and truly up the bottoms of the pundits, sports writers and Talkshite. A big BAM and not even a thank you Mam.

I don't think even the most optimistic of Gooners saw that performance/result coming. And wasn't it just a sight for any eyes, let alone sore ones? 5 goals, free flowing football and the first ever Nicolas Bendter hat trick. The atmosphere at the stadium was weird. None of the tenseness from before Liverpool and Sunderland, in fact it was quite jolly. Two nil up in the first half. How odd. Seeing out a game in comfort without any bum jangley opposition chances. Strange. All this with no Captain Marvel. Madness. When it clicks, boy does it clickedy click click.

Never in the history of my Goonership have I been more angry than I have been since the Stoke game. The absolute bashing our manager, our players, our fans and club's whole oulook has taken has been truly appalling as widely discussed in Arsenal blogs and pubs near you.

Now correct me if I am the minority but honestly I can't see the resemblance between Wenger and Hitler. The paragon of virtue and morality Collymore stated that " Despite the belief that Wenger is the professor, he has a real bitter and nasty streak. It is blatantly obvious the Frenchman wants to buck the trend and traditions of English football. But if he doesn’t like English working conditions, whereby players are physical and try to win the ball, then maybe he should disappear to La Liga or Serie A.".

Kind of like Wenger's been up to some sort of football ethnic cleansing. As if Arsen was leading a secret invasion, to slyly infiltrate and corrupt the English game before commencing with his real plan of world dominance via foreigner. I mean Collymore is quite right huh? Go on Frenchie, back through the tunnel you go and take that beautiful footballing ethos with you. We want none of your kind round here. We want to watch English Stoke, we will not allow you to dilute the long balls, throw ins and thuggery with your silky skill - damn you!! Do we need to discuss Arsen's record? To list the players he brought to the grace the Prem and to the English fan's tellys? To illustrate how much Arsenal has grown since his arrival? To show how many young players he has educated? To talk about how he sees in players in positions they would never believe they could be successful in? To educate that under him our diciplinary record has improved to near saintly. Where is the respect for this man, his attitude and his achievements? We remember life before him - have they forgotten? Can he not be a bit moany/emotional/biased/wrong sometimes? Like that's a bad thing? Have they all gone mad?

Last night after having their noses rubbed in their own shite in magical fashion the naughty puppy pundits tried to blame us! Can you believe it? Apparently we haven't been patient with Nick, we haven't understood the financial constrains the club has been under, we have over reacted to what they have been saying. Andy Townsend was so sick this morning he couldn't even bring himself to discus the game, he had to focus on who we'd get in the draw and how hard that would be for us. Sour grapes for breakfast anyone?

Our national stadium took another berating this week. The pitch has to be re-laid more times that John Terry's bed sheets (sorry just can't let it go!). Did you see the beautiful Emirates stadium last night with it velvet green pitch and Arsenalification in full progress. Can't wait to get the clock back.

So yes our trophy cabinet's a bit dusty, yes we need a few players, yes we need to be a bit more physical, yes last night was only one game and a tricky trip to Hull and back is on for the weekend. But for goodness sake - DID YOU WATCH THAT??? Wouldn't you want to watch that every week? Wouldn't you like it if your team/national side played like that? I think we all know the answer and lets all have a little smug chuckle to ourselves today and enjoy it. We support the Arsenal under Wenger and do you know what? Its pretty fucking good.
