Arsenal started the game on the front foot, creating chances and controlling the game. Bedntners hold up play then ball was brilliant, Denilson run on to the ball before hammering it into the bottom corner. The keeper might as well have waved it goodbye, believe me there was no keeper in the world who could have saved. The stadium erupted into happiness and every Arsenal fan thought the flood gates would open and we could be looking at an Arsenal demolotion performance, but no, that wasn't the case.

West ham were awarded a freekick, I thought Diamanti's sweet left foot was going to hammer the ball into the top corner but rather suprisingly his effort didn't even beat the wall.

Arsenal were still creating chances and spraying there passes around but West ham were now getting in the game. Robert Green but the ball up the pitch, it bounced, Vermaelen was uncertain wether to header it or not. The ball went over his head and the West ham striker broke away, he was running when Vermalen aparrently pulled him back. The ref gave a penalty and sent Vermaelen off for a foul he did'nt even make. Diamanti stepped up to take the resulting penalty, Aluminia saved it. This was a very controversial decision but Aluminia had saved it. As you could imagine Wenger was fuming, he went straight over to the referee to tell him that was a moody decision.

Song, who was having a execptional game went to centre back and denilson went back in to a deeper kind of defensive midfield role. West Ham replaced their two strikers for another two strikers, cole turned and hit a shot which fortunately for arsenal was kissed off the post.

Arsenal were still playing the ball around in the terrible rain. The weather had changed instantly. Fabregas flicked the ball past Upson to run onto, But Upson handballed it. Arsenal were awarded a penalty, guess who stepped up to take it?, Captain marvel of course. Fabregas slotted the ball to home into the empty net, Arsenal had got the second goal, we were now at the top of the table.

Hopefully we will win the premiership.
