Okay, we had the fairy tale of Henry returning to the Emirates, coming on in the 72^nd min, then scoring in the 78^th!  Wonderful wonderful stuff.   I think Thierry will be a decent addition for the six and a half weeks he is here, with experience and heart in abundance, welcome home Thierry Henry!! 

Now onto the scary stuff.  What’s going on with our luck of injury’s to defenders??!!  Frances Coquelin joins the ever growing sin bin of defenders – we are in dire straits! 

Here is the full list of who is crocked at the moment:

  Francis Coquelin (Hamstring): Last Game: Leeds - January 09, 2012 

Speaking on January 10, Wenger said: 'Coquelin has a hamstring [injury]; he is out for a few weeks'

  Kieran Gibbs (Groin): Last Game: Sunderland - October 16, 2011

Speaking on January 6, Arsene Wenger said: "Gibbs is doing well but none of them are ready for the next few weeks at least."

 Thomas Vermaelen (Calf): Last Game: QPR - December 31, 2011

Speaking on January 5, Arsene Wenger said: "I believe that he is the first to be back after Swansea.

 Bacary Sagna (Ankle): Last Game: S*urs - October 02, 2011

Speaking on December 23, Arsene Wenger said: "You could see that he's a bit ahead of schedule. We have to [be careful] but physically he will be ready very quickly because he worked very hard in the gym. We think the end of January is a reasonable target for him."

 Carl Jenkinson (Back): Last Game: W.B.A - November 05, 2011

Speaking on December 16, Arsene Wenger said: "His scan was not good news, the wait will be longer than expected. We have to wait four more weeks for another scan. His stress fracture is not a career-damaging injury but it will take a bit longer than expected."

 Andre Santos (Ankle): Last Game: Olympiacos - December 06, 2011

Arsene said: Andre Santos will have surgery to repair ligament damage and is expected to be out for around three months.

 Jack Wilshere (Ankle): Last Game: New York Red Bulls - July 31, 2011

Speaking on December 16, Arsene Wenger said: "He had a very important scan on Thursday and that was very, very good, exceptionally good. The news we have for Jack is very positive. No [he will not be back sooner], we will respect the delays. I count maybe mid-February for Jack."
