Ok Gooners so when it comes to the Gunnertalk crew, we come in different flavours.  George is a bone fide nutter  (ask the Football Widow how often her solid oak coffee table flies around the room within 90 minutes) Bes is the optimist and I am cool, quiet and calm during a game but then a dribbling emotional wreck after full time. So because honestly for once in 33 years I genuinely don’t know what to say about our recent performances, I’ve turned it over to you lot and it’s a mixed bag (just like my Swede this morning) ……

On BBC Sport 606  We Said

"We were shambolic in defending and no bite going forward -  enough of patience Wenger, buy buy or bye bye!" Lord Wilshere the saviour

“OK last nights result was not good and the last few weeks have been dreadful but it’s not the first time we have had a bad run in November (or the end of the season for that matter). What we have to do is take one match at a time and start nicking a few results to get our confidence and swagger back. We are still in contention for everything this season but not the way we are playing right now. So every match is a cup final for the next few weeks and if this goes well we will find ourselves at least top 3 in the league, in the Champions League last 16 and in the Carling Cup semi-finals. Things would look much better then and as I say the confidence would be back and we would get back to fancying ourselves to beat most teams rather than no-one. Let’s get behind the team and help them through this bad patch” CescyDave

“With everyone saying Wenger should leave. Glory hunters need to stop jumping on the bandwagon and realise that not only is his past great, but we are still third off the top of the premier league and can still top our Champions’ League group. Thousands of clubs all over the world would give anything to be where this club is right now.  A few results and you all turn on a manager you worshipped for the last 13 years. It is making me sick reading some of these articles. Sort it out.” Clock end Gunner

“I honestly didn't think we played so bad. The only reason we lost was because we were down to ten men because of their cynical fouling and the referee not punishing it. And as for the penalty? How on earth did all the officials miss it? Honestly one of the most disgraceful refereeing displays I’ve ever ever seen. He blatantly didn’t want us to win. As for the positives, I thought Rosicky was excellent as was Djourou. How he got dropped for Spurs I have no idea. Gibbs was good too.” Gunner Phil it Up

“15 months ago, after Arsenal had sold good and committed players (Kolo Toure for one) and not replaced them, I said this:
'This is probably the worst Arsenal side since the 1980's (Denilson probably wouldn't have got in that team either). And our best ever manager has fluffed his exit lines and is in the process of destroying the club he built. Laugh? I could cry."
Many of you, I think you’re Spurs fans in deep cover, said that I had to have faith in Wenger and that it was all just about to come good. I got the same reactions early this season when I pointed out the lack of leadership on the field, the lack of guts, the midget centre halves, the lack of a proper finisher etc. These points aren't rocket science; Smudger was making them on Sky last night, and he's no football genius (although how we could do with a finisher like him now). So how much more humiliations are you prepared to take? People say that the trouble with Arsenal is that they don't have a Plan B. No, the problem is that we don't have a Plan A.  You don't win football matches on the possession statistics. If you did, Denilson would be a god rather than a cowardly version of Ray Wilkins. Wenger is a busted flush, who has not made one good decision since Eduardo's injury. Goodbye Monsieur, very definitely not Au-revoir!” Still Dreaming Of Dennis

The ‘Its Up for Grabs’ Facebook Group Said

“You know what the problem is, we've gotten used to winning that we react terribly to losing. This bad spell may wake us up. You can win nothing in November”
Robert Tonkinson

“Unless I'm missing something, we can still top the group? And isn't it re-drawn for the next round anyway? We're two points off the top of the league, second in our Champions League group and we haven't been knocked out of a cup yet. We've lost a traditionally very hard game against a team who, like it or not, are a top four side and then away against the Portugese champions. A little perspective please we are not Liverpool.”
Tom Sawyer

“I hereby offer both of my hamstrings to Jesus for a transplant.”
Patrick Sheridan

“In Arsene We Trust.”
Alexandre Warna

I saw this on the BBC live text

Gavin, a Spurs fan, via text: "I don't believe this. Arsene Wenger has been brilliant for Arsenal and he's a top-class manager. The team that has hit a rough patch, not him."
I actually agree with a Spurs fan…”
Muhamad Mirza

“Just came back from my annual november holiday. We should have beat Newcastle and the scum by now, and we should have qualified for the knockout rounds, how's it going?”
Conor O'Connell

“I hate being negative...but...I just can't fathom WHY after two GOOD away wins in the PL we then capitulate in Donetsk, against Spurs AND against Braga. It's beyond me. How have we gone so bad recently?”
Daniel Diggins

“I never done drugs my whole life but cocaine and heroin has never been so tempting”
Rhys Cyrus

“Why is everyone complaining we won 2-0.....Oh we weren't the ones in the red and white shirts? Fuuuuuck!”
Eleanor Wood

“We need a fucking leader...........”
Trevor Cardy

My Mates Said …

“WTF the world is in some kind of reverse perverse second coming where Arse are shit and Spuds win????I cant take it anymore.”
Daniel Haskey

“Wenger is what happened needs to grow some balls”
John Alastair Sheehan

 "Losing faith!”
Glen McCarthy

“What the fuck is going on arsenal this is bollocks!!!!”
Steve Thomson

  “We are sheeet!”
Adam Gold

“We go to the Villians without Cesc and without balls.”
Filip Urbancik

“It is quiet obvious to everyone apart from Arsene that Arsenal's defence is the problem and Yes Arsene you need a solid defence to win games. It's not all about attacking! Is Wenger in charge of the defensive training? He needs to get in a defence coach! He was blessed when he came to Arsenal because he already had the best back 4 and Keeper in the country! He added his flair players to the team that’s why it worked! He done very well in replacing Adams with Sol but apart from that some of the defenders he has bought are just as bad a the keepers he bought eg Luznhny, Stepanovs, Cygan, Senderos, Silvestre to name a few. Wenger legend of a manager but his stubbornness is getting in the way of Arsenal wining anything or even challenging.”  Derek Harris, Arsenal Mania Comments

“You could have money, a lot of new players every transfer market, 10 first level strikers, a new manager or a beautiful stadium BUT when a football institution lost his identity it's has an effect on all Arsenal levels from the manager to the fans and specially the players. I think this bad situation it's because of the players, just if they could feel our shirt like we feel it, wake up every morning knowing you play for something big and even if you lost knowing you leave your soul in the field you can sleep calm...Do our players know what are they playing for?  Francisco Arsenal Mania Comments

“Spurs defeat sill hurt like hell and this now! We lost beaucause we are rubbish as well as Bragga and the refs. You right Arsene, that should been a penalty and they did get the goal 11 vs 10. Bragga spent most of the night in their own half making them hard to break down. Those fifth officials are useless, what are they there for?” AllezArsenal The Sun Comments

“Someone needs to pay for this, who will it be? .... Villa .  step up" Tore The Sun Comments

“Guys, just wanted to tease your minds on the performance of Cesc since the start of the season. His performance so far is way below par. His passing abilities has deserted him maybe ahead of him to the Nou Camp. I still maintain he should have been flogged last summer. “ Ghana4Life The Sun Comments

“Obviously the non penalty decision had an influence on the end result of the match but as long standing Arsenal fan it is a major worry about how many goals we conceede from straight kicks down field after we have lost the ball in the opponents half. I know on occassions we have been chasing games but clearly having all your defenders so high up the pitch seems odd and the the spurs first goal at the weekend related to schoolboy stuff with everyone attracted to the ball and nobody sweeping behind.
With Steve Bould on the staff and Martin keown around there must be someone to drill in a better defensive shape when we have the ball.”
Steve Reynolds Daily Mail Comments

“Cesc Fabregas is a spent force, someone has to say it, we need a replacement for him as quickly as possible.  Wilshire is coming along nicely and Ramsey is back playing in the reserves but neither player is at the stage to take over. Fabregas has struggled this season with his form - hamstring after hamstring and now on the other leg, he has been a great servant to the club but enough is enough, a replacement needs to be found now and Fabregas needs to rest and recover and then be moved on. We have problems at Arsenal and although on the surface they look minor, really they are major, Bendtner, Eboue, Denilson, really need to move on, they upset the balance of the team.  If Arsenal are going to move forward these players need to go. Walcott? Now there’s a problem the lad is not an out and out winger he really needs to play central, but with the likes of our other strikers, it will be some time before he gets the nod perhaps a move would benefit him and Arsenal, we need talent in the team but we also need experience to go with it, which can only be by introducing players with the talents we need. Mr Wenger is opposed to spending the going rate for this kind of player so buys players from foreign leagues more in his budget, a false economy. Arsenal will remain a top half league team while they have their youth programmes working but major competitions will be won by other teams.”  Steve Palmer Sky Sports Comments

Ok so that’s it. Where do you stand? Again, I don’t even know what to expect Saturday. Comments please…..
