I could see it, my son with much less experience in football could see it  and Arsene must have seen it. We needed to make changes, this was the time to make changes Wenger! It is your job to make decisions like that.

There is no doubt that Arsene Wenger is the most successful manager we have ever had and I do appreciate all he has done for our club. I love the man but I think he has lost it.

Before getting into today's game I have to say that he has been making fundamental mistakes for the last few years. So many of them I just don’t know where to start from. Hold on... I know, let’s start with the biggest one; the way he dismantled the invincible squad. They  were thru and thru Arsenal legends in that squad, they would’ve been very happy to play out their careers in Arsenal shirts. Henry, Viera, Pires, Gilberto, Ljunberg, Campbell, Lehman....No other team in this world would get rid of players like these in almost one go. To this day I still don’t know what possessed him to do such a thing. It has been a downhill slope since. It hurts me to say but Manchester United or Chelski do not do that and Scholes scoring one of the most important goals of the season at the age of 35 in the 93th minute is just another proof that he was so wrong.

What about not buying a top goal keeper that every top team deserves or should we talk about not enforcing the team during the transfer window when both of our forwards were out injured - not the mention he already had sold our main centre forward before the start of the season for loads of money! I could go on and on but what really pisses me off is; when we have sixty thousand people buying the most expensive football tickets in the world, on top of that we sell our best players for millions of pounds making lots of profit but he refuses to buy a decent goalkeeper and a central defender. Don’t you think these supporters spending so much of their hard earned money on tickets deserve to see a decent goalkeeper?  Does he think that this lame excuse of youth policy thing is going to keep fooling the fans? It just does not make sense that teams like Tottenham can spend more than us.

What can you say about today’s game? We were 2-0 up against a very poor Wigan side and cruising with about 30 minutes to go. Some of our players took their foot off the pedal which can happen given the age and the lack of experience of the team. Time to introduce fresh experience legs I thought. I know making substitutions is not one of Wenger’s strongest points but this was an obvious one. At one stage I found myself shouting at my plasma screen; “please make changes Wenger!” which turned into “MAKE SOME CHANGES FOR FUCK SAKE!!” . Nothing! Not a movement from the Arsenal bench. Bendtler Was not having a good game, Diaby was awful again and Rociky had run himself to the ground. We had Van Persie and Ebue sitting on the bench. Why is he not doing it!?

I could feel it in my bones that things were going to go wrong. I turned to my son and said “they are going to score in a minute and it will be all too late” and it was, they scored. Then I said to my son “he is only going to play RVP for the last 4 minutes if they score again” They scored and scored again. As Van Persie was standing on the touch line in the 88th minute ready to join the game my son glanced at me in strange way and said “you knew”.

Well, Arsene should have known better!

I know it is hard to accept or even to write like that about a legend of a manager that Arsene Wenger is;  but I think he has run his time as a manager.

It is time to make changes.
