A season is a long one in football terms, there will be ups and downs, injuries, bad luck good luck scenarios... But most importantly decision making by referees’, managers and players are the ones that determine a team's season:

 We have had our share of bad decisions from the refs throughout the season in the Premiership and in the Champions League.

Wenger's decision making has been poor to say the least;

  • He thought we had a decent 1st choice goalkeeper to carry us through and decided against buying one - Bad decision

  • He threw in Gallas after a lengthy, re-accruing injury at the deep end - Wrong decision

  • At the very same game our captain marvel was risked by playing him when he had an injury. Not the mention high risk of taking a gamble by putting 2 players who are not fully fit in a game like that - Decision back fired

  • We have lost both players for the rest of the season, a season I think we are over achieving with the squad we have.Not strengthening the squad with 2 or 3 established players - Worst decision

I do believe in our young players but wouldn't a couple of experienced internationals to look up to and learn from be good for their development - rather than hindering it as Arsene puts it? After all we have lost quite a few of them last few seasons. We don't even need to break the bank, just some re-enforcements, how much Mark Schwarzer of Fulham would cost? Why wait until summer to get Marouane Chamakh when we could have got him for less than 8 mil at the start of the season?

Tonight’s game showed what a difference a world class striker or a top goalkeeper makes! We played Sp*rs off the park but no end product. Their teenager scored with a 45 yard swinger. I don't agree with the pundits saying that his strike was unstoppable. It went into the middle of the goal, yes smack in the middle of the goal where no goalkeeper should let a goal in. Wenger tried to give a petty excuse for him by saying that he was unsighted. Sadly, just to prove the above point their keeper kept them in the game by producing at least three world class saves. The one he made from Campbell’s header was amazing as the ball took a deflection and was traveling towards the top corner of the net before it was clawed away by that man. Incidentally Campbell’s performance was awesome! Very unlucky not to be on the score sheet as his knee shot in the first half was cleared off the line too. Man of the match by far.

Van Persie showed us why we have missed a top striker like him so much with his performance when he came in for the last 20 minutes. Boy, what a performance it was, if it wasn't for Gomez he would've scored a couple of typically great RVP goals. He had a big hand in our goal as well when he put Wallcott through and the winger’s cross was bundled in by our goal machine Bendtler - 9 goals in 11 games for him now.

Unfortunately in between Gomez’s heroics and their first goal which was just few minutes after kick off, we had conceded the fatal second goal just after the restart, because;

  • Sagna decided not to keep in line with the rest of our defenders - BAD DECISION!

And...That was that.
