Scrumptious chocolate pudding

I have just been to Waitrose and bought the most scrumptious chocolate pudding and fresh custard – heated it up – made sure it was ready for half time only to be told that “no one can eat at the moment”!!! Wasted!! Trust me had we been in the lead at that point my desert would have been swallowed without it touching the back of their throats!!

Whilst I was trying to cut my chocolate pud into 4, I was making a right MESSI– at the same time MESSI was messing around with us!! What a player – even my boys and one girl (I had the pleasure of having the gorgeous Lindsay round tonight) agreed that he is truly in a league of his own!!

I thought we would be ok - Correct me if I am wrong; but I do believe that Liverpool came back from being 3-0 down to draw 3-3 and then go on to win on penalties one year long ago in the Champions League!

Well if they can do it why can’t we?

I know that Barcelona are an exceptionally quality team – I was just hoping that lady luck would be waving her wand over our gunners! Yeah I know I was asking for a bit too much!

We didn’t have the main guys – injuries have seen to that but we still have a lot of quality and determined young players on that pitch.

As you must have gathered I do support Arsenal – if we win I am happy – If we lose …well yes then I am a bit sad but more pissed off that my whole house will be a flurry of swear words, saddened faces, lack of laughter, black moods and generally very sad males who seem to think that their worlds have fallen apart!!

However saying that, tonight there seems to be an eerie silence – we tried our hardest but – but Messi Won!! I know that Gunners everywhere will agree that he is unstoppable, dynamic and just simply one of the most talented players ever! We should hold our heads up high – under the circumstances our young guns did well.

The dedication, loyalty and total commitment Arsenal supporters give to their team is to be admired. I cannot begin to imagine something taking over my life to that extreme … well nothing that would make such a big difference to my everyday life anyway!!

When that Messi guy scored his last goal I knew my 4 bowls of luxurious chocolate pudding will go to waste …..Oh and that dress I had my eye on ……. Forget it!! Now the other half knows about the shoes too, thanks to my last blog – I have some explaining to do!!

One last word – no consolation for the men in my family but well done to the Arsenal for getting this far – no really they all deserve a pat on the back. They are a young team with spirit and commitment. Now Arsene – please can you buy some more players – no seriously now – even I have realized that we need some more bodies to strengthen our team – come on now babes …. You know it makes sense x
