So here we go, second leg vs Porto, two one down but a priceless away goal kindly contributed by Mr Campbell!

We have no Cesc, who’s desperate to play but has been advised by docs not to risk it. For me this is not the worst news as it sounds like he will be ok for our next league game. The boys need to do it tonight without him and talk is that Nasri is gunner fill his position tonight. Nasri’s world class and he can do it. With Galas out, Campbell comes in who can deffo do the job tonight, but Galas is more of a concern going forward as he has had a setback in his calf strain recovery. Apparently he’s back to square one so that’s bad news. First and foremost his defending is superb but also he has that extra to his game and with the run in to the Premiership title he was bound to get in there with one of his life saving last minute goals. Get back soon William!

Tonight we need to score but it’s as important not to concede. We are a better team than Porto and if Walcott plays the way he did the second half against Burnley we are bound to get on the score sheet. Bentner however needs to change the boots he was wearing against Burnley, but I’m confident he will put away his chances this time. It’s the fight that concerns me. At their ground Porto did what they had to do to Cesc and got away with it. Everyone knows that both their goals where gifts.. in fact Fabianski must have had some overdue Christmas present for them or something because they were gift wrapped with big red bows!!! I can’t actually believe I’m saying this but it is good to have Almunia back, and having played a decent games against Sunderland, Stoke and Burnley may have given him a little confidence now.

Song needs to kick them a bit, let them know he’s there and boss the midfield. He has come on so much but one thing I’d like to see from him, and only because of what has happened of late with Ramsey and the tag we have been given of being soft, is be a bit more nasty. Not to break peoples legs but be up for a row. Grab someone buy their shirt collars and bark in their face.. go a bit viera on them! Point a finger and threaten them when they kick us. Let’s see if they do it again if the soldier in our team gives out that kind of attitude. But is not gunner happen cos he’s just a nice guy.

With Bendtner we have our shape back again and the Dane could make the difference. Not just because he can get goals (depending on what boots he’s warring), but it means Arshavin goes back to the position he’s best in.

Will Eboue get a nod? Probably should do as he has been playing very well. However Sagna is rested so most likely he’ll play. Diaby pivotal, something tells me this will be his kind of game.

So our likely line is: Almunia - Sagna - Campbell - Vermaelen - Clichy - Song - Diaby - Nasri - Arshavin - Bendtner - Walcott
Expect the away team to be cagey. They are in a position they never thought they would be – not needing to score!
